Christoph Döberl

I am drawn to the point where art, science and technology meet. That is where hard questions turn into solutions that hold up in everyday use.

It started with wanting to build things, which led me to computer science, first to software engineering in Hagenberg from 2012 and later to Leadership and Innovation in Organizations at Johannes Kepler University Linz. Since February 2022 I have been building solutions for tomorrow with zynd GmbH.

I build things myself rather than only advising, and today I write the code together with AI agents. In research projects I work alongside partners from industry and academia, and I pass on what I learn there in talks and workshops on AI and digitalisation.

I believe technology can make the world a little better. That is why it is not enough for me that a solution is right. People should also enjoy using it.

Working together

Not every situation calls for the same thing. Sometimes an answer to a single question is enough, sometimes a workshop with the team, sometimes a whole project or someone to take over technical leadership. What fits is best worked out in a conversation.

  1. First call

You describe the situation, I tell you whether I am the right person for it - including when the answer is no. Nothing to prepare, nothing to sign.

    No charge

  2. Consulting

One booked session on one question: an architecture decision, a technology choice, a second opinion on a plan or an estimate. For when you need an answer, not an engagement.

    30 to 120 minutes

  3. Workshops

On site with your team on one subject, such as AI, digitalisation or a specific system. For teams that have to make a decision together, or that need a shared picture before they can plan.

    Half and full days

  4. Projects

An idea turned into something that works. That can be a prototype that shows whether a plan holds up, or an application that stands up to everyday use. We agree on the outcome up front, and I build and deliver it.

    Defined outcome

  5. Technical leadership

Technical responsibility for an initiative that needs leadership - while it is being built, when it is stuck, or on the way from prototype into production. I work inside your existing team on architecture, priorities, staffing and suppliers. The goal is a team that runs without me.

Two to four days a week, six months upwards

Where does innovation begin?

Usually with a sentence that went unsaid for a long time. In the describing, most knots show where they sit, and some come loose along the way. For the rest, I am here.
